Shirley L. Manning-Myers, 87, of Peoria passed away at 8:33 pm Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Richard Owens Hospice Center.

She was born March 4, 1929 in Peoria, the daughter of Raymond and Eva Moreland Schultz. She married Glenwood B Manning. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. She later married Dean Steven Myers on October 13, 2012.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 4 years; one son, Jay (Rita) Manning of Rantoul, IL; two grandchildren, Raymond and Joseph Manning; and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Steve's children, Fay Bachman of Gilbert, AZ, Dale (Mary) Myers of Dunlap, and 5 grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Don.

Shirley was a beautician until her retirement in 1992.

She is a member of Mt Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, January 13, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
