Mary L. "Mary Lou" Hillebrand, age 66 of Saint Jacob, IL, died Sunday, January 8, 2017, at her residence in Saint Jacob, IL.
She was born on Wednesday, March 8, 1950, in Saint Louis, MO, the daughter of Wilfred F. and Juanita B. (nee Horn) Luecke.
On Saturday, July 1, 1972, she married Robert Edward "Bo" Hillebrand at Spanish Lake, MO, who survives.
She was also a member of National Education Association (NEA and Missouri State Teacher's Association.
Mary was born in St. Louis, MO. She attended Saint Louis Schools and graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1968. She received her Bachelor Degree at SW Missouri State and Master Degree at UM St. Louis with additional schooling at UM St. Louis. She taught business at Hazelwood School District in Hazelwood Central for 30 years. She retired in 2002 and moved to Illinois. She enjoyed bird watching, going on road trips with her husband and eco trip to Peru to see Machu Picchu and trips to Mexico. She liked to needlepoint and read. She enjoyed listening to her son play the double bass. She was a dedicated educator and loved teaching all of her life.
