WEATHERFORD -- Anita Chapman Blair, 86, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, peacefully at home, surrounded by family.

Anita was born June 9, 1930 in Hollister, Okla., daughter of Leroy and Jewel Edwards Chapman.
She met Raymond Blair and they married on December 10, 1946. They were together for over 50 years until his passing in February 1997, and were blessed with three children. Anita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be missed by all the lives she touched.

She was a retired court reporter, a member of the Pythian Sisters, Order of the Eastern Star, Texas Business and Professional Women, Texas Court Reporters Association and Fort Worth Porcelain Arts. Anita was admired for her artistic ability in both oil and china painting. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Weatherford for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Blair; father, Leroy Chapman; mother, Jewel Chapman Durrett; brother, Leland Chapman; and grandson, Trey Wright.

Survivors: Daughter, Linda Blair Olson; son, Roger Blair and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Gail Blair; sister, Dana Schrick; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and many other loving family members, church family and friends.
