COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 02/06/2005
MATTINGLY - Frances E., 79, of Louisville, passed away Friday [February 4, 2005] at Little Sisters of the Poor. She was the former Frances Durbin, a former employee of the Charlestown Ammunition Powder Plant and a member of the Legion of Mary. She attended Mass at Little Sisters of the Poor. Survivors include her children, Linda L. Hayes, Joseph A. Mattingly Jr., Vickie S. Davidson, Carol L. Mattingly and JoAnn Hart; two sisters, Dorothy Kurtzo and Christine Craig; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Little Sisters of the Poor, 15 Audubon Plaza Drive, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Little Sisters of the Poor. Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd., is handling arrangements. Memorial gifts may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.
