Donna was born on June 23, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Schultz) Severson. She married Roland Hahn on June 22, 1952 at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Lowell, WI.
She and Roland were dairy farmers in Wisconsin before moving to Vermillion in 1957.
Donna worked as a secretary for the UCCM Center for 10 years. She retired in 1996 from the University of South Dakota after 20 years as an administrative assistant.
She enjoyed collecting angels, bike riding and was an avid china painter. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, LWML, and spent many years teaching Sunday school. She was a member of the WOCP (World Organization of China Painters) and Dakota Classic Cruisers Car Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Faith (Robert) Ericsson of Lytton, IA; her two sons, Dale (Kristi Gaffey) Hahn of Sioux City, IA, and Kevin (Sandy) Hahn of Wakonda, SD; her sister, Diane Schroud of Sun Prairie, WI; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Severson of Beaver Dam, WI.; two grandchildren, Betsy (Tyler) Rusley, and Cutter Hahn; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Hahn, Bailey Rusley, and Harper Rusley; five step-grandchildren, April (Jason), Jessie, and Jeremy (Misty), Nicole (Bob), Justin; nine step-great-grandchildren; Kyle, Megan, Haily, Lauren, Jason Jr., Kali, Kinlei, A.J., Hailey; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland, her parents, and one brother, James Severson.
