Andrew Adkins was born April 3, 1885 and depared this life April 18, 1931; age at time of death 46 years and 15 days. He was the son of Oliver and Jane Adkins. About 19 years ago he was married to Maggie Adkins, who preceded him to the grave nine years ago, and to this union were born three daughters, Agatha, Aretha and Merle. He leaves to mourn his passing his father and mother, the three daughters, and four brohters, and one sister. The brothers are, Tillman Adkins, of Price, Wv, B.H. Adkins, of Sias, C.M. Adkins, of Barboursville, R.F.D. 3: Leander Adkins, of Latrobe, Wva, and the sister Mrs. George Nitzel of Cincinnati Ohio. About one month ago, on the 17th of March, he was converted and lived in the faith until Saturday morning, April 18th, when God said it was enough, come up higher. Just a few moments bbefore he died he reached forth his hand and told his brother that he saw two Angels.
The funeral Services were at the Collins Knob Church Sunday Morning April 19, conducted by Revs. E.L. Watson, E.L. Adkins,J.H. Sperry and Ebb Cummings.
