Eugene Austin Stone, 58, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at Columbia Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Amos Family Chapel of Lenexa, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Gene was born in Tulsa, OK. He was a General Manager Special Audit/Survey Branch, Equifax Commercial Specialist.
Gene loved gardening, refinishing furniture and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, and daughter, Kristen, of the home; two sons, Eugene Stone, of Topeka, KS, and Jeff Stone, of Frisco, CO; one grandson, Tucker Stone; three sisters, Aline Wilson, of Overland Park, KS, Adrienne Horacek, of Anchorage, AK, and Nancy Wysocki, of Worcester, MA.
