We announce the death of Luxime Vincent d’Entremont, native of Lower West Pubnico, on Saturday, August 15th, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, at the age of 95. He was the son of the late Vincent d’Entremont and Alice (d’Eon) d’Entremont. He was a retired carpenter.
He leaves in mourning a daughter, Mrs. Ina MacKenzie, three sons, Edwin, Wilbert and Israel, all of Lower West Pubnico; also two brothers, Simon and Heliodore, of West Pubnico, and a sister, Mrs. Elvira d’Eon of West Pubnico, 31 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith d’Eon, a son, Elmer, two daughters, Melina and Sister Lorraine; six brothers, Henry, Nelson, Sylvain, Ernest, George and William.
The body rested at West Pubnico Funeral Home. The funeral was held Monday, August 17th, at 3:00 p.m., with funeral service a St. Pierre Church, father Louis Boudreau, officiant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
