Patricia "Pat" Foltz nee Auvil, 84 passed away on April 19, 2016 at her home in Cherry Hill following a short illness.

Pat was born in Grafton, WV on March 16, 1932, youngest of 8 children of Nitia and George Cassel Auvil. She attended high school in Boston, and trained as a Registered Nurse at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.

She and her family settled in New Jersey in 1965, after accompanying her husband on his tour of duty as an Officer with the U.S. Navy, living in Rhode Island, California and Cuba. She received her B.S. in Health Education from Glassboro State College and was employed for 20 years as a School Nurse in the Cherry Hill School District.

She loved her family, cats, dogs and flowers. Her garden remains a much admired part of the neighborhood surrounding her home.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Don, beloved brother, Leon of Auburndale, MA, loving daughters Pat of Cherry Hill and Betsy Rusnak of Sewell, NJ, as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and grand nieces/nephews. She is predeceased by sisters Helen, Esther, Gladys, Gene, Laura, and Lena.

Memorials in Pat's name may be made to the Animal Orphanage in Voorhees.
