Mr. Glenn Douglas Garrison, 69, of Hogansville, GA passed away Friday, 6 Jan 2017 at his home.

Mr. Garrison was born 17 Jun 1947 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Cecil Robert Garrison and Martha Elizabeth Pickens Garrison. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he was a lifelong resident of Troup County, GA and was a self-employed auto mechanic. He loved anything mechanical, especially engines, antique cars and muscle cars.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Garrison of Hogansville, GA; daughter, Christy Watkins of LaGrange, GA; sisters, Deborah Simmons and Elaine Scott, both of LaGrange, GA; his granddaughter, Brittney Watkins; step-daughter, Jessica (Jessie) Smith; several step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, 10 Jan 2017 in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, GA. Rev Jimmy McMillian will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, 10 Jan 2017.
