Mr. Seay was born in 1926 to Robert Edward Seay and Mary Louise Dossett Seay. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and went on to further his education at Tulane School of Architecture. He began his career working for Lee Potter Smith Architectural firm before opening his own business, RDS Architect. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah and loved UK Basketball.
He is survived by his two daughters, Michele Seay Tucker and husband, Stephen of Mayfield, KY, Vicky Seay Hendrix and husband, Robert of Paducah, KY; son, Greg E. Seay and wife, Renee of Wesley Chapel, FL; brother, James Seay of Melbourne, FL; granddaughter, Natalie Ritchie; and two great grandchildren, Tyshaun Cavette and Nylah Ritchie all of Mayfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Glenda JoAnn Davis Seay.
Funeral services for Mr. Seay will be at 1:00 pm on at Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Entombment will follow at Brooks Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
