Liberty – Feb 7 – Carl Alton Capps, three, died in a Greenville hospital early this morning after a brief illness.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Capps; one sister, Patsy Ann Capps; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cisson and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Capps.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:30 at Pleasant Grove Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. H. A. Newton and Rev. J. E. McNeece. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be W. C. Cisson, Alfred Rigdon, Cecil Burgess, and Billy Burgess.
Until the hour of service the body will be at the home in the Pleasant Grove section of Pickens County.
