On January 5, 2017, Peggy, who suffered from a brain tumor, passed away into the waiting embrace of our Savior.
Peggy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served in the New York, New York Mission from 1984-1985.
Though Peggy did not have children of her own, she had a true mother-heart and touched the lives of many children as a nanny, foster parent, aunt, stepmother, grandmother, and Primary President. Peggy cherished her wide-reaching relationships with friends and family.
She met her challenges with humor and positivity.
Her faith was powerful and her courage was comforting. Our sorrow in losing her is swallowed up in joy for her reunion with her husband.
She is survived by her parents Dennis Keith and Mary Beth; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 4 stepchildren with 2 spouses; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and one great-niece.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Victor Pearson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10th, 12:30 p.m., at the Salt Lake Little Cottonwood 14th Ward, 1160 E. Vine Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
A viewing will be held Monday evening, January 9th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the same church.
There will be no viewing the day of the funeral.
Interment, East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 East Lawn Drive, Provo, UT.
