Loretta M. Caldwell passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She had resided at The Inn at Coalridge in Wadsworth for the past 3 years. She was born on May 8, 1925, in Barberton as Loretta Marie Whyte to the late Harry and Emily Whyte. Loretta was a successful real estate agent for many years. She loved bingo, "yard-sales" and casinos, and many vacations with her husband, Fred (a 40 year Firestone retiree). She was also a "Fashionista!" who always dressed "to the Nines."
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Fred Caldwell; and brother, Jack Whyte.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry (James) Hunger; son, Kenneth (Sandi) Caldwell; grandchildren, Anthony (Starr), Gregory (Ginger), and Michael (Darla) Hunger, Nathan (Thersa), and Luke Caldwell, and Katherine Curry; great-grandchildren, Drake, Lily, Brooklyn, Kylie, Sofie, Jackson, Audri, and Quinn; nieces and nephews, Sandy, Paul, Diane, David. She also leaves behind her closest friend, Violet Pirman and all her friends at Coalridge.
