Mrs. W.C. Allen
Dies at age 75
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Lou Allen, 75, who died Tuesday night in the
Hawkinsville Hospital following an illness of several weeks were held Thursday
morning at Cochran Baptist Church. The services were conducted by the Rev. R.
Lee Knowles. Interment was in the family lot on the Salem cemetery.
Mrs. Allen is the widow of the late W.C. (Uncle Bill) Allen. She was born in
Laurens County the daughter of the late Seb Partin and Mary Witherington Partin.
She is survived by one son, R. Wilbur Allen of Eastman, three daughters, Mrs. W.
W. Purser, and Mrs. R.C. Hoitt of Cochran and Mrs. Roy King of Buford. Also two
brothers, C. S. Partin and Lonnie Partin of Graceville, FL. Fisher Funeral Home
was in charge of the arrangements.
