Lucille was born March 8, 1938 in Weldon, Illinois, the daughter of John and Ida (Black) Followell. She married Everett Lealon “Junior” Scott, Jr. November 24, 1960 in Weldon. He passed away April 28, 1987.
Survivors include her children, Jacob V. McPeek, Sr., Sabrina Peavler and James R. McPeek; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Lucille was an avid Cub fan and enjoyed bowling, bunko and bingo. She loved to sing and dance at the hospital and nursing home to entertain the residents as a member of the Swinging Grandmother’s Club. She also volunteered for DOVE and at the Highrise.
