Page 3 of Testimony of Claimant, Richard Albritton
"Int.30 I had relations in the Confederate Army two sons, Henry H; and Benjamin R. at the commencement of the war they were both married and out of my control. I did not aid or help them in any way and did not know that they were going until they were gone. I think that both went in the second year of the war to avoid conscription. Henry H. died in the service at Rome, Georgia. Benjamin R. is living in the immediate vicinity. My youngest son Henry was 31 years old at the commencement of the war. I had other relations in the Confederate Army some of whom were killed some returned safely."
