Nancy Wimbish Holcomb, 77, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1939 in Critz, VA to the late Roy Qucell Wimbish and Lillian Hester Hancock Wimbish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Wimbish.
Mrs. Holcomb attended Fort Trial Baptist Church. She loved reading and music.
She is survived by her husband, Larry William Holcomb of the home; son, Mark Alan Powell and wife Sammie of Martinsville, VA; step-sons, Willian Larry Holcomb of Norfolk, VA and Ricky Lee Holcomb of Kodiak, AK; sister, Jean Klinkert of Kernersville, NC; brother, Jerry Wimbish of Stanleytown, VA; brother-in-law, Tommy Holcomb; and granddaughter, Jessica Burgess.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Joey McNeil. Burial will be at Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery.
