David W. Zirbel, formerly of Hartford, passed away Monday, 3 November 2014, at the age of 71 years. He was born 19 January 1943, in Fond du Lac the son of Wilmar and Lucinda (nee Schaumberg).
He graduated from Hartford High School, worked at Hartford Hartcraft for many years, and then worked in West Bend at The Threshold Inc. until he retired.
David also enjoyed singing in a Hartford community choir for 35 years.
He is survived by his brothers, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters and brother- in-laws; Shirley (Dale) Derge and Marjorie (Arthur) Koepsell; and infant brother Robert. Funeral service is Thursday, 13 November at 11 a.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home - Hartford. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service.
The Rev. Jeremy Husby will officiate and interment is at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Theresa.
