Mr. Frank Tarbet, age 89, of Higden, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 5, 2004. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 14, 1915, he was the son of the late Frank Tarbet and Elizabeth Robertson Tarbet. A former resident of Munster, Indiana, Mr. Tarbet had been a resident of Cleburne County since 1977. He was a retired terminal supervisor for Marithon Oil Company. Mr. Tarbet was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Medical Corps with the 121 United States Army General Hospital. He was a member of the Holiday Hills Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Frances (Durham) Tarbet of Higden, one daughter, Andrea Hermann and her husband, George, of Houston, Texas, one stepdaughter, Paulette Rickert and her husband, Fred, of Higden, one stepson, Don English and his wife, Lois, of Robinson, Illinois, five grandchildren, Kristen Low and her husband, Bruce, Tre Baker, Gretchen Baker, John Rickert, and Madeleine Rickert, his brother-in-law, Jan Moraukic and his wife, Sabina, of Dearborn, Michigan, his nephew, Peter Kern and family, and nieces, Sue Cukr and family, and Betty Swinburnson and family. Mr. Tarbet is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
