"William J. Theel, a native of Germany and long resident of Leavenworth, died at the family home, 518 Pawnee street at 2:15 o'clock this morning of asthma.
Funeral services will be held from the Lutheran church by Rev. A. G. Dick at 2 o'clock' Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery.
He was 58 years old. Mr. Theel was born in Germany in 1861 and came to the United States when a young man. About thirty years ago he moved to Leavenworth remaining here until his death.
He is survived by his wife, three sons; Emil and Adolph Theel, of Kansas, City, and Walter Theel, of Leavenworth and two daughters, Mrs. Earl Matz, of Kansas City. and Mrs. Henry Hill, of Leavenworth."
