Jackie was born on December 13, 1942 in St. Louis Missouri, to Jack and Dorothy Cruvand. She mothered four children from her first husband and later moved to Houston Texas where she met the love of her life Phil Lyons. Jackie was an extremely hard working woman, very confident and sure of herself. She was a go-getter like no other. Jackie worked very hard to provide for her four boys in difficult circumstances. Many would agree that she was a great person and loved her children and grand-children dearly. She had many step children and step grand-children and loved them as her own. Jackie was a member of the Evangelization Team at the Catholic Charismatic Center where she helped lead many people to Christ. She was also an RCIA (Christian adult education) teacher there as well for many years.
The family would like to sincerely thank Sue Robenalt, Zach Flunker and Deb Moreno for their abundant gift of love given to Jackie in the last months of her life. Also, a special thanks to Christine Mata for her friendship, along with her family's support during the last year of Jackie's life. In addition, Jay would like to thank Jason Hilow for being at his side in Jackie's final days.
