Bonnie Peacock McGee, 81 of Star City died Thursday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

She was born January 12, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late Pruitt and Doris Meeks Peacock.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Star City, where she was church treasurer for many years, member of the American Legion Auxiliary and V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary. She was retired from C&L Electric as an office worker.

Also preceding her in death were her first husband, James W. Walls, Sr.; second husband, Austin McGee; and step-son, Terry McGee.

Survivors include 2 step-sons, Buddy (Dianne) McGee and Larry (Brenda) McGee; 2 step-daughters, Barbara J (Bud) Calhoun and Carolyn (Charles) Capps; daughter-in-law, Kay Dutton, all of Star City; brother, Harlan (Ruth) Peacock of Batesville; and several nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00PM Saturday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bud Calhoun officiating.

Visitation is 1:00-2:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
