Memorial service for former Snyder resident Ronnie Neal Montgomery, 69, Roanoke, TX will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel, Snyder, Oklahoma with Rev. Les Bussell, Pastor of the Snyder First United Methodist Church officiating.
Ronnie passed away December 23, 2016 in Lawton, Oklahoma following a lengthy illness..
He was born August 22, 1947 in Frederick, Oklahoma to William Hodson and Clara Mae Barker. He was raised in Snyder and had his own electrician business for many years in Snyder. He was manager of the Horse and Rider Western Wear in Greenville, Texas before taking leave to take care of his mother until she preceded him in death. He was an avid Rodeo fan, a bull rider and enjoyed watching rodeo on television.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Bette Montgomery, 3 sons, Jackie Montgomery, Jeff Neal Montgomery and Austin Dean Montgomery, a brother and sister-in-law Ray and Kate Massey, 3 step-children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Benny Rose.
