Funeral Services Saturday Morning For Mrs. Robinson

Funeral services are set for Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Seydler Funeral hom for Mrs. Lucinda Rebecca Robinson, wife of the late J. W. Robinson, who died at her home on Cone Street at 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
The Rev. Roy H. May, pastor of the First Methodist church will conduct the last rites with burial to follow in the Hermann Sons cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Gonzales county on September 30, 1862, the daughter of George W. and Charlotte Davis both natives of Gonzales county. On May 18, 1879, she and J. W. Robinson were married. They had made their home in the country where he was a farmer for many years. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1925. She was a life member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include two sons, Theodore and Doss of Gonzales; and three daughters, Mrs. Howard Houston, Mrs. Louis Cleveland, and Mrs. Clate Thorn, all of Gonzales; 24 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Four sons and one daughter preceded their mother in death, one, "Red" Robinson, died only a few months ago.
