Cheryl Anne Mann, 70, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 12, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Rex W. & Maralyn (Shank) Adams. Cheryl was a graduate of Eaton High School and was a Court Reporter for Judge David Abruzzo at the Preble County Courthouse for many years. An active member of her community, Cheryl was passionate about helping others in deed and prayer. She was a member of the Community Emergency Response Team in Eaton; a 4-H Firearms instructor; an instructor for Conceal Carry Permit holders and a member of IDPA. Cheryl was a devoted member of the Eaton First Church of God in Eaton, an avid hunter and fisher but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Merritt and sister, Tammy Benton.

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Daniel “Dan” Mann; daughter and son-in-law, Redah Michelle and Ian Brunk; sisters, Gayle M. Morris and Ann Marie Fugate; brothers, Steven J. Adams, Tim L. Adams and Gerry Willis; granddaughters, Alicia Boomershine and Jessica Maish; great grandsons, Keaton, Carson, King and Cooper Maish; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Pastor Jerry Reynolds and Pastor Rodney Beare officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens, near West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
