On July 5, 1947 she married Verne B. King in Indian Lake. They met in Austria while Verne was serving in the United States Army during World War II. He passed away on November 12, 1980.
She worked as a clerk at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake for many years.
Her enjoyments included baking, her dog, “Lilly," watching operas and operettas and music. She treasured the trips made to Austria with her daughter.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Indian Lake.
She was predeceased by her husband; an infant daughter, Rosemary King; and two brothers, Paul and Rupert.
Survivors include one daughter; one son; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a son-in-law.
Services were held at the Miller Funeral Home, 6357 State Rte. 30, Indian Lake. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Indian Lake, with Reverend Philip Allen, pastor, officiating.
Burial was private.
