Jimmie Lee Richardson, 94, of Ohio, formerly of Florence, passed away December 28, 2016. Mother was a member of “Rosie The Riveter” organization; building radios for P51 fighter planes. She worked at the North American Defense Plant during WW11 in Dallas, TX. At the end of WW11 she moved to Memphis, TN where she worked for 36 years at the Memphis Newspaper Commercial Appeal – Memphis Press SCIMITAR. After retirement she moved back to Florence, AL.

Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver; brother, W.T. Clemons; and a sister, Willie T. Beavers.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Jane Marlar (Allan) of Aurora, OH; grandson, Troy Marlar (Olga) of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Tracy Lee (Chris) of Camp Hill, PA; great-granddaughter, Nicole Lee and Athena Marlar; great-grandsons, Ryan Lee and Allan Marlar; and nieces and nephews of Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.
