YOUNGSTOWN - A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at Tod Homestead Cemetery for Lawrence R. Myers, 51, who died Dec. 30, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Lawrence was born in Youngstown on June 3, 1965, to William and Jacqueline Ludt Myers.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was into fast motorcycles and enjoyed working on cars with his brothers.
Lawrence is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Aurora) Myers Jr. and Mark Myers; stepchildren Tierra and Terrence Parker; 10 grandchildren; brothers Anthony (Kim) Ambrose, Frank (Lucinda) Myers, and Joseph Myers, all of Youngstown; and sisters Anne (Jeff) Heltzel, Jacqueline (Brad) Stone, and Cecelia (Ron) Myers, all of Youngstown, and Sherry (Pete) Williams of Florida.
He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Alexander May; daughter Monique Myers; brother William Myers; sisters Nanette Ambrose and Kaylene Dial; and a niece, Darla Treharn.
Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, material donations to the funeral home are appreciated.
