"Sharon E. "Sherrie" Fowler, 56, of Taylorsville, died on Monday, the 2nd day of January, 2017, at her residence. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Tom and Mary Fowler. She was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church, and an insurance underwriter at Gowers and Associates in Louisville.

A loving daughter, sister, and mother of two, Sherrie's survivors include her daughter, Karie Madden and her husband, Donnie, of Louisville; her son, James Gilliatt and his wife, Liz, of Bardstown; her parents, Tom and Mary Fowler of Taylorsville; her brother, Steve Fowler and his wife, Kathy, of Elk Creek; her sister, Janet Fowler Corum of Louisville; and her four grandchildren, Hayden, Conner, Evan, and Sienna.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, the 7th day of January, 2017 at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville, with Reverend Dale Cieslik officiating. Interment will be in Elk Creek Cemetery in Elk Creek.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., Friday, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 11902 Brinley Avenue, No. 100, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, or to the All Saints Catholic Church."
