Lloyd R. Myers, 84 of Abbottstown, formerly of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Rest Haven York. He was the loving husband of Marilyn B. (Paules) Myers.
Born Friday, April 22, 1932 in Hanover, he was the son of the late George J. and Emily L. (Roberts) Myers.
Lloyd was a handyman; he enjoyed working on cars, being out in nature, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Lloyd is survived by five children, daughter, Brenda Fair and her husband Scott of Hanover, sons, Danny Myers of Gettysburg, Jeffrey Myers of Hanover, Steve Myers of Littlestown, a daughter, Tina Martinez of Mechanicsburg; two step-sons Fred Bowman of Jefferson, Richard Bowman of Dover, DE; two step-daughters, Geffie Wolfe of Spring Grove, Wendy Lynn of Manchester; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many loving step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by two grandsons, Shane Myers and Jacob Shearer.
A service to celebrate the life of Lloyd will be held PA with Rev. Martin W. Bovee officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers will be; Danny Myers, Jeffrey Myers, Travis Shearer, Ben Shearer, Gary Stine, and Scott Fair.
