Jane first married David Summers and to this marriage was born Anne Summers (Lewis), David N Summers, Joseph Coleman Summers and Paul Summers. She and David divorced after over 20 years of marriage and she later married Ronny Brotherton.
She and Ronny bought a house in Monroe, NC that was over 100'years old. She loved that house and took great pleasure in telling about it and its history. Ronny adored her. If she mentioned she wanted something, Ronny would give her that and more. Once she mentioned she wanted a certain well known brand of bear. Ronny bought that and four more in that collection and showed up at her work with them. Ronny was generous to a fault.
Jane was a talented artist. Her needlework was so beautiful.
Jane is survived by her children, her sister Brenda Waggoner and many friends and family.
