She was born 27 November 1943 at Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of William H. Phillips Jr. and Mary Patricia "Pat" Smyth Phillips, who preceded her in death. Her husband; two sons; her brother and sister-in-law; her sister and brother-in-law; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; and three nieces and nephews survived her.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, 14 May 2001, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Eldersburg. Interment was at New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
