She formerly volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years and was a Knights of Columbus wife. Lucy took pride in cooking for her family. She especially enjoyed meeting with friends from her monthly card group who provided her with much comfort and assistance in her times of need. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff of the 10th floor at Memorial Hospital and her caregivers from the Center for Hospice for their support & kindness. At Lucy's request, there will be no visitation, and a Memorial Mass, which will be celebrated at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., is assisting the family.
