He was born on October 23, 1954, to the late Jesse and Lillian Howell Cockram. Michael was a welder by trade. He enjoyed living life to the fullest but most of all he loved his family. Michael will be greatly missed. Michael is survived by his two brothers: Stanley Cockram of Bassett and Tony Cockram and wife, Rebecca of Bassett; nieces and nephew: Courtney Cockram Ledyard, Corbin Cockram, and Carly Cockram all of Bassett; and fiancé, Geraldine Catron of Bassett. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Faith Community Church; 3836 Iron Bridge Road (Near Fairystone Park) Stuart, VA 24171.
