Carol was born May 31, 1936, in St. Joseph, to Cecil and Beulah Hannah. She was a graduate of Central High School. Carol worked for Whittaker Cable Company and later she and her husband managed Kentucky Fried Chicken in the late 1960s and 1970s. She also was a housewife and member of McCarthy Baptist Church and enjoyed painting.
She married Everett Ray Payne on April 10, 1954, in Hiawatha, Kansas. He passed away on November 13, 2000.
She was also preceded by: her father, Cecil Hannah; and mother and step-father, Beulah and Henry Dankers.
Survivors include: her children, Dennis Payne, Ronnie Payne (Liz) and Jennifer Payne; half-sister, Dixie Espeland; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Dylan, Jesse, Cassidy Payne.
Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, at Heaton-Bow man-Smith & Siden faden Chapel.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening, at our chapel.
