She was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Class of 1964 and graduated from Lowell Beauty Academy.
On April 1, 1967 she married Donald Pederson.
Janet and Don spent 44 years working side by side at their business, The Trichology Shoppe.
Jan was a loving dedicated wife, mother and memere. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and the sign in her kitchen pointed to treat street and sweet treats. She was an excellent cook, yet in teaching them to cook, there would be baking flour all over the kitchen. Janet enjoyed rug hooking, camping and boating.
She was also dedicated to her Parish life. She served as a host with her husband, was a Eucharistic Minister and served for many years as arts and environment director for St. Patrick's in Newport, NH. She was very active in the Cursillo community, and a supporter of the Kairos Prison Ministry, devoted to the Blessed Virgin and could be seen driving around town with ROSARY on her license plate.
Members of her family include her husband, Donald Pederson, Unity, NH; two sons, Christopher Pederson and his wife, Lauren, Bedford, NH; Sean Pederson and his wife, Susan, Belleville, IL; five grandchildren, Courtney Pederson, Audrey Pederson, Colby Pederson, Olivia Pederson and Kathleen Pederson.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Interment will be held later in the spring at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
