HAMPSHIRE - Patricia L. "Pat" Lehman, 80, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was born May 1, 1936 in Elgin the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Taylor) Seyller. Pat married Ralph W. Lehman on May 5, 1956 in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Hampshire and they lived in Hampshire all their married life. Pat had been employed by School District 300 in the cafeteria at Hampshire High School and had worked as a dispatcher for the village. She had also worked at the former Union 76 Truck Stop and had been a volunteer for 10 years with the Salvation Army Meals on Wheels. She was a lifelong member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, Jeffrey (Ann) of Zionville, IN, William (Wendy) of Shawnee, KS, Debra Dorgan, and Marcia Dunning both of Hampshire; four grandchildren, Susan Ann (Ryan) Blocker, Michael Dunning, Andre Lehman, and Jennifer Lehman; 2 great-grandchildren, Mya and Max; a sister Ruth Milnamow of Three Rivers, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph on Dec. 31, 1997; and in-laws Rose and John Lehman. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 297 E. Jefferson Ave., Hampshire. Burial will be in the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5 from 4 to 8pm at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire with rosary at 3:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Salvation Army Meals on Wheels program. Information, 847-683-2711.
