Chester ''Chet'' Leroy Barteaux March 10, 1931 - March 20, 2016

BARTEAUX, Chester "Chet" Leroy - 85 of Lawrencetown, Annapolis County passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late Arthur and Florence (Woodbury) Barteaux. Chet was a former truck driver for Thompson's Transfer and TRA Foods. He enjoyed camping for many years, attending heavy draft horse events, a good game of 45's and he was an avid Toronto Blue Jay fan. Chet had that special gift of a keen mind, for remembering special dates in the lives of his family and many friends. He is survived by ..................

Chet was predeceased by his wife the former Joan Naugler and son Colin. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the VON, Annapolis Valley Branch. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
