Lillian Frances Brock, 101, of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, Alabama.
Born Friday, July 2, 1915 in Dayton, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Haram Douglas Aslinger and the late Nora Angeline Morgan Aslinger. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church and loved Braves Baseball and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Edward Brock, her parents, daughters: Amarylis Eckstein, and Lila Brock Duggan, and a host of brothers and sisters.
Surviving are son, Joseph Edward (Mary Joe) Brock of Grant, AL three grandsons: Andy (Cecelia) Hargrove of Ardmore, TN, George Stacy Duggan of Ardmore, TN, and Keith Edward Brock of Ardmore, AL, two great-grandchildren: Ben Hargrove and Adrienne Hargrove, both of Ardmore, TN, and a host of nieces and nephews from Dayton, TN.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Mickey Buford and Bro. Don Hillis officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
