She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Rossville. Lisa was a substitute teacher for more than 33 yrs. with Chickamauga City Schools and Walker County Board of Education. She served her community taking care of countless firefighters during emergencies day or night. Lisa was always known for saying a kind word or cheerful smile to anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone, who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. Fisher and Wanda Hixson Lewis; daughter, Samantha Lynn Lewis; and great-great nephew, Elijah Trapp.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, of 38 yrs, Eddie L. White; beautiful daughter, Lea White; sisters, Geannie Hallman, Sheila Lewis, Sally Martin, Amy Smith and Betty Adkins; brothers, Robert Fisher, William Lewis, and Freddie Fisher; step-father, Willie Lewis; and several nieces & nephews.
