Jake ended his four-year battle with Mesothelioma. He married Trish Jensen on May 23, 1998, worked in construction for many years, and was a Certified Massage Therapist. He loved to travel, cook, fish, hunt and go for bike rides. He enjoyed doing 4H with his kids, beekeeping, raising chickens and archery. Survivors beside Trish included: parents Max and Roxanne; children Shayla and Carson; grandmother Phyllis Bond, sister Natalie Briskey (Morgan); nephew and niece Morgan and Halie Andrew; and Orange the cat. Preceding were grandparents Earle Bond and Robert and Arlene Thompson. Memorial services were held January 6th at Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette.
