Death of Ernst Fehrmann of Newton, last Mon. Burial took place today. The
article describes a fight 10 days before in which a younger man named Schroeder,
a butcher, had knocked the deceased to the ground and kicked him the head.
“Schroeder’S whereabouts is unknown.”

STATE OF WISCONSIN,-COUNTY OF MANITOWOC.-ss.
Probate Office, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, December 2, A.D., 1882.
In the matter of the proof and probate of the last will and testament of Ernest
Fehrmann(sic), deceased, late of the county of Manitowoc.
Whereas, an instrument in writing, purporting to be the last will and testament
of Ernst Fehrmann, deceased, late of the county of Manitowoc, has been filed in
this office; and whereas application has been made by Carl Werneke, one of the
executors named in said last will and testament, praying that the same be proven
and admitted to probate according to the laws of this State:
Therefore, it is ordered that said application be heard before me at the probate
office in Manitowoc, in said county, on Tuesday, the 9th day of January, A.D.,
1883, at 10 o'clock, A.M.
And it is further ordered, that notice shall be given to all persons interested
in said will, of the time and place of said hearing, by publication of a copy of
this order in the Manitowoc Pilot, a newspaper printed and published in said
county, for three successive weeks, once each week, prior to the time of such
hearing.
