Robert Gerald Lantz, 91, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2016 at Osprey Point Nursing Home, Bushnell, Florida. Mr. Lantz was born on March 20, 1925 in Monterey, Pennsylvania to his parents Jonathan Stoltzfus Lantz and Florence (Shanks) Lantz. Mr. Lantz was a former Agricultural Pilot in the Agricultural Industry. He and his late wife Doris moved to Lake Panasoffkee in 1989 from Gap, Pennsylvania. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. Mr. Lantz was of the Christian faith. He and his late wife were motorcycle enthusiasts who rode all over the United States. He is survived by his loving daughters: Diana Elaine (Francisco) Ortiz of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and Denise Rene (Frank) Boozer of Paradise, PA; a sister: Margaret Long of New Port, PA; five grandchildren: five great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his late wife Doris P. Lantz, two sisters, Geneva Mae Stoltzfus and Velda Fern DeFroscia. A private committal service will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
