Col. “Bob” Boese was born Dec. 13, 1935, in Aurora, Ind.
Bob served 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1983. His career began with the Matador Missile followed by the Mace and Minuteman. His assignment at F.E. Warren included OMMS commander, deputy base commander and deputy commander for maintenance.
He was a private pilot, enjoyed reading, computers, fly fishing, target shooting and his Mustang GT.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jon Robert; mother, Marion Jackson; and brother, Eric Jackson.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Nancy; sons, Steve, Jim (Ann) and Bob (Kendra); grandchild, Trenton; and sister, Janice Lowry (Harve).
