Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mildred Louise “Mickie” Rankin Sims. She was a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and attended Greenville Technical College.
Donna was employed with the H.T. Hackney Company for 12 years and recently retired.
Donna was a lifelong member of McCarter Presbyterian Church. She was active in Bible Study, the Presbyterian Women, sang in the choir, and was coordinator for the Sunshine Committee. Her zest for life brightened any room. Her genuine spirit and love for people brought happiness and joy to those in need. She will always be remembered for her generosity.
Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Danny McClure; her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Steven Tolar, of Columbia; and her precious granddaughters, Hannah Louise and Ava Dean. Her grandbabies were her world.
Burial: Woodlawn Memorial Park.
