Victoria was born in London, England and came to the United States after serving in the Women's Royal Naval Service during World War II.
A loving wife and mother, Victoria was an active volunteer in her children's schools.
She received the Vermont Education Association award for outstanding service to public education for funding and organizing cultural art programs in area schools and establishing the first physical educational program for the Vergennes Elementary schools.
She worked alongside her husband in their grocery store and egg businesses, and later worked in retail sales for Skihaus in Middlebury, Vt.
Victoria loved to cook and was known for her elegant cakes and desserts.
She was an accomplished knitter and seamstress designing and making all her home furnishings and many of her children's clothing. She continued to knit teddy bears for charity into her later years.
A private graveside service for family will be held in the spring.
