A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Joan was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Thomas B.. and Kate C. Sessions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold W. Tengelsen, and two daughters, Arnelle Reeves and Carlene Tengelsen. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
