Elmer C. Bachand, 81 of 2817 Minnesota Ave., died Friday night in a Duluth hospital. He retired several years ago as manager of his own advertising agency in Duluth. He was born in Bayfield, Wis., and resided in Duluth for 52 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Parish. Surviving are his wife, Louise, and three sisters, Mrs. E. E. Daniels, Great Falls, Mont.; Mrs William B Johnson, Glendive, Mont., and Mrs Vern Wegyenant, Battle Creek, Mich.
