Survivors include three sons, John William Benware, Thomas Joseph Benware, and Joseph Herbert Benware; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya (Francis) Tacy, Santa (Jeffrey) Martin; brother, Eugene Alphonso; four sisters, Anna Francois; Santa Elson; Mary Martinetti and Virginia Grew; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Her husband, William John Benware, died Nov 24, 1995. Five brothers and a sister also died earlier.
